Modus Excellente Education Centre understands that Secondary School Students nowadays are studying a lot of different subjects, and that a bad result in one subject could greatly affect their paths ahead. Therefore, we have come up with Junior Secondary School Subjects for F.1 – F.3 students, and HKDSE Subjects for F.4 – F.6 students. All subjects are taught in the small-class tuition setting to ensure students get the maximum out of each class.



Junior Secondary School Subjects

There are so many subjects to do at the same time, and if you ask any students if they would like to scrap some of the subjects given the choice, the answer is obvious. However, the results of each of these subjects will directly affect their future choice of subjects and therefore their paths. The possible effects demand that every one of these subjects to be handled with extreme care.

Unlike the schools in Hong Kong, Modus Excellente Education Centre is not being restricted by the set timetables and is flexible in specifically targeting students’ weaknesses in different areas of the subjects. We will not simply glance through the pages of textbooks, only for the students to forget all about it the next day. MODUS’s Junior Secondary School Subjects go into great depths to make sure the students are equipped with a good understanding of the contents of each subject, the tools with which they analyse different topics, and answering techniques for various types of questions.

Junior Secondary School Subjects currently available at MODUS are Chinese History, History and Integrated Science. For each subject there are F.1, F.2 and F.3 levels.

HKDSE Subjects

Faced with the shortage of places at local universities and the recently-changed education system in Hong Kong, students are also forced to juggle their time and efforts between the revision for the HKDSE exams and Other Learning Experiences (OLE). The question is, can they really handle all these things at the same time?

Modus Excellente Education Centre, having analysed and broken the aforementioned issues down, has first developed our own programmes for HKDSE Subjects, designed to help students tackle the exams more efficiently and confidently, so that they will at least be able to obtain the grades to get into their ideal universities.

MODUS’s HKDSE Subjects focus on detailed analyses as well as intense practices of key topics, and under the setting of small-class tuition both answering techniques and the understanding of subjects can also be enhanced.

In addition, Modus Excellente Education Centre will organise free talks on University Entrance for existing students, so as to provide them with a clear goal and incentives.

HKDSE Subjects currently available are Economics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and BAFS. For each subject there are F.4, F.5 and F.6 levels.


Fee

The fee of Secondary School Subjects is standardised at HKD 200 per class across all 12 levels. Each class is 60-minute long.

As a registered learning centre of the Education Bureau, we only charge a monthly tuition fee for the coming month.

Enrolment Procedures and Timetable

  1. Reserve an appointment for assessment by calling 2803 2689, 1 day in advance. An assessment normally takes 30 minutes.
  2. We will mail/email a detailed assessment report to the parents within 3 working days.
  3. Based on the assessment results, MODUS will recommend the most suitable programme(s) for the student and a proposed class schedule will be attached. We will come up with a schedule that best meets the student’s time table.
  4. Students can attend a free trial class so as to sample the MODUS learning experience. Only after that they can decide if they want to join our programmes.
